The Alexander McQueen Pre-fall collection is more muted and structural than the spring 2011 collection which was very soft, and nature inspired. Sarah Burton's collection was largely military inspired, with metal accents and muted colors, there is no denying that this collection's pieces will have a strong impact. I can see Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton pulling off many of these looks as they always pull off masculine looks with an added feminine touch.
