Anna Sui always evokes a fun and playful spirit in her designs. For spring 2012 she took inspiration from 1940's. With cinched waits that gave an hourglass silhouette, turbaned curls and A-line skirts. Although the collection had a retro feel to it it didn't feel like it was out of style, Sui gave it modern touches that made it very relevant for current times.
