Antonio Berardi has become one of the many go to designers for A-listers looking for the perfect red carpet dress. Mr.Berardi has previously worked with John Galiano whom he considers to be his mentor. He started his line in 1995 , it immediately gained high profile attention from huge buyers in the fashion industry. He is very influenced by his mother's elegance and femininity in her clothing. It has been said that he draws inspiration from the clash of cultures he himself exemplifying by being a British born Sicilian.
