Alexis Bledel has been away from the spotlight for a while now, but now she's back with a vengeance. The actress has had quite the fabulous week promoting her new movie "The Conspirator". I I can relate to her sense of style, because in many ways it's similar to mine. She's often seen in classic, simple and flattering outfits and the way she carries herself is the reason she is a standout on the red carpet. She's very confident in her own skin which I love. Now to discuss her outfits. She attended the screening of her new movie wearing a maroon dress by Stella Mccartney, the dress was not a show stopper, but what grabbed my attention were her accessories. her gold sandals and beige clutch were the reason her outfit worked.
While making her way to MTV's show "The seven" She wore a gorgeous pale pink tuxedo jacket by BCBG paired with a white tank top, and bootcut jeans. A fresh and youthful look.
At the premiere of "The Conspirator" in New York city she chose a glamorous cap sleeved Oscar De La Renta Pre-fall sheath dress. Her updo just added more elegance and grace to her look.
At Good Housekeeping's annual shine on awards, she once again chose a sleevless tweed dress from Oscar's Pre-fall collection soft feminine waves and minimal makeup completed her look. I didn't love it like her first look. I think she should've gone with a thinner belt and a more interesting shoe choice.
Alexis is one of my favorites on the red carpet. the reason for that is she always chooses to go the elegant and demure route which is a refreshing change in a time where body hugging mini dresses are a must.
