The Mulleavy sisters' inspiration for their fall 2011 collection was Terrence Malik's movie Days Of Heaven about a love triangle gone terribly wrong. It's quite visible how the movie inspired their collection with soft romantic chiffon dresses, long coats and wheat prints it was hugely visible that it was inspired by the country side. This collection was a beautiful , dreamy and unique one. When the show neared it's end they surprised us with two ruby red outfits that referenced the Wizard of Oz. Needless to say this collection was by far one of my favorites this season. The Mulleavy sisters are proving season by season that they're an innovative and artistic talent that are here to stay.
